Ellison-Cliffe Travelling Fellowship

This prize of £15,000 is open to Fellows of the Royal Society of Medicine working in the UK or Ireland who are of specialist registrar or lecturer grade or equivalent or who are consultants within 3 years of their first consultant appointment.

The award is intended to cover expenses for travel abroad, to one or two centres, for a period of not less than 6 months, in pursuit of further study, research or clinical training relevant to the applicant's current interests. The candidate awarded the Fellowship will be expected to provide a written report about the work undertaken during the tenure of the Fellowship and to present at an appropriate RSM educational meeting.

The candidate should confirm that their employing authority will grant study leave if the application is successful.
