The Colledge Family Memorial Fellowship Fund

£10,000 award for head and neck fellows or members

The Colledge Family Memorial Fellowship Fund

The next award of this Fellowship will be made for the year commencing August 2009. The value of the award to any one Fellow is not likely to be less than £10,000. All applications will be considered but applicants who stand to gain clinical or research experience will be given priority.

For all applicants the following conditions are laid down by the Trust:

  1. You must be a Member or Fellow of this College and a senior trainee, or recently appointed Consultant or of similar status, in laryngology, rhinology or otology.
  2. The fund is restricted to UK Medical Graduates
  3. The clinical study or research, which must be conducted overseas, is to be for otolaryngology / head and neck surgery.
  4. A report must be submitted within three months of your return.

Each year the selection committee will select a successful applicant to conduct a formal annual lecture entitled ‘The Lionel Colledge Memorial Lecture’ The lecturer will receive a medal in recognition. This is due to commence in 2010.
