Outpatient Management of Patients with Balance Disorder
Royal College of Surgeons of England, London
This is a one day course on the management of dizzy patients. It aims to provide ENT surgeons of all grades with the necessary tools to diagnose and treat patients in a routine ENT clinic. The emphasis of the course is on clinical techniques and management strategies which work for the general ENT surgeon rather than the neuro-otologist. The course will also give an insight into which investigations are likely to influence management. A morning session of lectures is followed in the afternoon by practical worked examples of common balance disorders.

BSO Tinnitus Course
The Royal College of Surgeons, LondonTinnitus is one of the most common symptoms encountered in a general ENT clinic, yet it often seems one of the most perplexing and difficult to treat. Not infrequently, having consulted support groups and the internet, the patient seems better informed than the clinician. This course aims to provide clinicians with the tools they need to manage the majority of cases of tinnitus. The course is appropriate for consultants and senior trainees.
